I made rice krispies for the fellowship afterward, I had fun making them the best part is after you put them in the pan, you eat all of the yummy, gooey, warm, rice krispies off the spoon and out of the bowl.
Question of the day: What is your favorite treat to eat at Christmas time? Mine is... um... the Peanut Patties my Mom and I make or... the Christmas cookies that people make that are very soft and they have yummy frosting on them! ( I don't know what they're called ) :-) Mmm...
But, I will have to say that the Summer sausage that we rarely have, but we always have it at Christmas! Is VERY GOOD!!! :-) ( It's a treat! )

Oh, my! Rice Krispies sound so delicious right now!! I haven't had any in at least a couple of years. Also, "O Come, O Come Emmanuel" is one of my most favorite Christmas songs. My sister and I actually sang it for our church's live nativity Saturday night! :) It's such a beautiful song!
My favorite Christmas treat would definitely have to be the peanut butter things we've made each year. (Sorry, don't know what they're called!) We use Ritz crackers and sandwhich peanut butter inside them. Then we dip them in almond bark (white chocolate) and eat them! They are soo good!! lol :)
I'm glad you had a great day yesterday!! :)
Blessings,
~Taylor

Jennifer,
My favorite Christmas treat has to be your Mom's peanut patties - and you know why! They were what my Mom made. Thanks for helping me think about that again. It is a very special memory.

Hey Jenn~ I love haystacks at Christmas. I don't seem to make them any other time of the year. I'm sure you guys have made them sometime?!
I also love the bisquick, cheese, and sausage balls....again, I only seem to make those at Christmas.
We usually make finger foods like that to have after we get home from our Christmas Eve service. Your mom, Nana, Papaw, and I would open presents on Christmas Eve with friends and then eat all that yummy food!
Ok Jenn-- I just came home from a church fellowship and I have a LIST of favorite Christmas treats: Cream cheese with pepper jelly on Ritz crackers, Rice Krispy Treats (but that's for any time of the year), Pecan Crescent Cookies, etc, etc, etc!!! It's all good when you're sharing it with your Christian brothers and sisters OR the blood family too!!! YUM! Thank you God for TASTE BUDS!!!
@Pawpaw- Glad to see that your on my blog! Yes, those peanut patties are VERY GOOD! We made some a couple days ago and they were delicious! Mom said that were making some more and we willl send some to you! :-)
