Sunday: A Bible Verse

Like a madman shooting
firebrands or deadly arrows

is a man who deceives his neighbor
and says, "I was only joking!"

~ Proverbs 27:18-19

I'm feeling creative today... can you tell?! ha ha  If you have any sugestions I would love to hear them!!

I loved today....

.. you know why.... because we butchered our chickens!!!!! YEAH!!! Now I don't have to feed the 3x a day, water them, and give them fresh wood chips after awhile!!!! *big smile*

Can you tell I'm excited?! :-) Now I just have our 26 hen to take care of, but they're REALLY easy and you only have to feed them once and collect eggs! You DO have to clean the eggs but that doesn't take very long.

All my 'free' time I'll be doing school and hopefully sewing A LOT more! ( I'll show you what I'm making in another post) but for now I'm going to sit down and rest from being on my feet and rinsing chicks all morning... ( that's my job... to rinse the chickens) *sigh*

Here are a couple pictures of today... don't worry I won't put anything gruesome for the sake of my readers... :-)

ahh... refreshing!

Today's doings....

This blog has been very quiet lately don't you agree?! :-) So... it time for a post!

Today we cleaned house and there's still more to do! Imagine that! I did the dishes while mom vacuumed and clean out our fridge( it was WAY over due!), Allison emptied the dish washer, I cleaned a fridge, and cleaned eggs! AND there's still bathrooms that need cleaning and clutter that needs to get picked up.

All this to get ready for chicken butchering (Saturday) and bible study after church (Sunday)! :-) I'm So ready for these chickens to be butchered and not having to feed them 3x a day! ("yes!") :-D Also... first day of school today for me! ( i'll post about that later )
It's raining at our house and many more right now...... strike that... it's PORING!!!!!! It drops are HUGE!!!!
We heard from some friends in Bay City that it was hailing.... HAILING... when that happens you know fall is on it's way!

I'm SO looking forward to it; it's my favorite season! From the pumpkins, doughnuts, and apple farms... to the AWESOME weather, beautiful colors, and leaf piles!

Question of the day : What's your favorite season?

oh, yeah..... it's still pouring!

I don't own any of these pictures.
