Eggnog cookies and Christmas eve

Mom and I made eggnog cookies they're VERY GOOD! Here is the recipe....

Eggnog cookies

1 cup butter softened
2cups sugar
1 cup eggnog
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. nutmeg ( we're not a fan of nutmeg so we skipped this )
6 cups flour
1 tsp. salt

Cream butter and sugar together. Beat in eggnog, salt, baking soda and nutmeg. Add glour slowly until combined . Cover and chill dough for 1 hour. Flour the counter to rool dough out for cut outs bake at 350 degrees for approx. 8 minutes. Makes a huge batch, about 8 dozen I think. (depending on what size your cookies are)

Frosting:
1stick butter, softened
1 lb. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
3 oz. cream cheese, softened

Some friends of ours came over for Christmas eve and we played Apple's to Apple's and then we watched Night at the Museum 2, the movie was very good! We had lots of fun together and after that our family opened My Grandparents gifts....

Warm fuzzy socks!

Merry Christmas!!!!

Oh Yummy Jenn! Thanks for sharing the recipe! I am more than a fan of nutmeg so I will definitely add that!
I like the family pic, Allison's sweater is really pretty.
I have a pair of fuzzy socks similar to those and they are SO warm. :)
Love you Jenn!
