Raw onion bread!

Well, I would say it's about time I post again .. don't you!?!! :-) Well, here is a raw onion bread recipe that I  though I'd share with you.....

YOU WILL NEED-

(Dehydrator)

3lbs. sweet onions -- CHOP THESE WELL!
1 cup ground sunflower seeds
1 cup ground flax seeds
3oz. Tamari or soy sauce ( I don't know why you put that in) :-)
Agave to taste

There really isn't DIRECTIONS for this recipe it's just...

Throw everything together in a blow and mix...

When you get it all mixed in you'll spread it onto a 'rack' ....
... you'll want the Teflex sheet on there so it won't drip through, about half way through you should take that off and have it just have it on the 'grid' part.

seperate the mix and spread evenly... ( it will make 2 trays )
Tip: It helps if you wet your hands!

I didn't take a picture, but before you put the tray in the dehydrator take a knife and lightly score it.
I forgot this part! So, I went back and did it :-) he he

Let it dehydrate for about 24 hours. For the first hour at 140* ( just to get it warmed up all the way through..) then put it down to 105* this way you won't kill those good nutrients,  ( this why it's called "RAW" ) :-D

This is what it looks like when it's all done... and scored.

Then just break it up into pieces...
it should be slightly chewy.

I like it with Horseradish sauce! Yummy!
I tastes almost like an onion ring!

Wow! That is interesting :)
Thumbs up for the RAW!!!! hehe!
I wonder if it would work in our clay oven over night. . .probley. We don't have a dehydrator so maybe I'll try it :) we don't have any agave, but I wonder if David's *raw honey* might work?? Where did you get the recipe, or did someone in your family make it up?

Hannah- I would think your clay oven would work... yes, honey would work also, agave is practicly a thin honey.

Micah- Yea, it is goood!
