Sprouts

I have been growing sprouts this past year and I was looking for different ways to use them.
I would put them on sandwiches, in salad, and some times just..TO EAT!! There a very healthy food and are packed with vitamins and minerals for the starting plant!

There are TONS of different sprouts there's.... Alfalfa, Wheat, beets, Chia, Cabbage, Corn, Peas, Radish, Sunflower, Soybean, and LOTS MORE! My favorite is Alfalfa sprouts. They're small and taste AWESOME!!

I DON'T LIKE WHEAT SPROUTS!!!!! THEY TASTE LIKE WATERMELON!!( not in a good way) !!!

I'm sprouting buckwheat right now for a raw cereal that we found on youtube. I love her recipes! Here's the link.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VW-hxdN3Hi8

This is what I grow them in.

You put them in the trays and water them 2 or 3 times a day.

These are my buckwheat sprouts!!!

You should try them sometime! :)

Hmmm...I'm not so sure about those buckwheat sprouts.

I do like alfalfa sprouts, especially with chicken salad on a bagel!

We definitely need more seeds to sprout! Maybe we can see if Grains & Greens has any in the next couple of days. :-)
