So, last week I was able to go to a photography workshop at the Creation Museum in KY with some friends of mine, and I thought I'd share some pictures that were taken during that time! This session was all on portrait photography... something that I knew nothing about, so I was a really good class!
OH, before I left I was able to buy this Portrait Photography e-book by Lauren and it was SO helpful! She did a great job writing the book and I would recommend it to any photographer!
OK, back to the trip!
We had a great variety of models that came in, so we got to learn how to photograph each one... here are a few we did inside! P.S. They're not the best pictures, but for my first time doing anything like this I'm pleased at how they came out! ( if you see that the backgrounds aren't perfect or some are a little fuzzy it's because we had a very small room and about 35 photographers trying to take the same picture! It was a little difficult, but thankfully the purpose wasn't about getting "keeper" pictures, but learning about how to take them!)
The first set-up... (the girl in this picture is one of the daughters of the family I stayed with while I was down there... I miss her!!)
A different set-up that was supposed to represent a window....
Setting up for shooting a cute little baby girl.... (that just woke up so she was a little grumpy at first)
We brought a cute little shih-tzu puppy.... that was SHAKING like crazy!
Then, we had a three-year-old come in.... she was VERY nervous!
I felt really bad for her... I can't imagine what it was like having 40 camera's taking your picture at the same time!
But, when we brought the dog in she was fine! :)
Smiling for mommy!
The mom and baby this time... everyone was taking the picture at once and I wasn't able to get in the place I needed for a good picture, but it was fine!
The whole group taking pictures...
An engaged couple came in...
Then, we had a family come in an model for us...
That conclueds the inside 'picture taking'! :)
Stay tuned for the outside photoshoot!
