{ Long time... no post... }

Yes, I'm still alive and yes I'm still here! Sorry I haven't been posting lately, but with our house being torn apart (post to come... soon.... I promise), and school in full steam ahead, it's been hard to keep up with it! ( excuses... I know, but it's true!) Soon, I will have some thanksgiving posts, and a house construction post, but for right this second I would like to share with you something that a young women missionary (Emily Nelson)  wrote to describe a bit of herself, and I can truly say it describes me also, and I pray this is you too! May you all be motivated!!

What Motivates Me?

Orphans melt my heart.
Injustice makes my fists clench.
Change is great, but transformation is what I long to see.
Sometimes worshiping the Lord moves me to tears.
I look for beauty amid tragedy, like a flower springing up through the ashes after a forest fire.
Hope, and truth, and justice, and purity: these are things worth fighting for.
Innocence is to be cherished, just as the strong are to protect the weak.
I want my life to be completely sold out for Jesus and His purposes in this world.
I am a warrior: armed with truth, with compassion, with love, and with justice.
I am a healer: equipped with knowledge, encouragement, and God’s joy.

Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations!
~Matthew 28:19
