White?!?!

I went to collect eggs and I got a white one! It still has a cream tint to it but look at the picture...

The one at the bottom is a regular brown egg, the middle one is the lightest color brown that we've ever had and the top is practically a white egg!!

Fun fact: The color of there ears tell your what color egg they lay. A white ear lays a white egg and a colored ear lays a brown egg.

Colored.... brown egg!

White.... white egg!
Is that cool or what! :-)

Well, next time I'm at your house I'm going to "study" every one of the "girl's" ears! That's a VERY interesting fact, BUT HOW DO YOU FIND a chicken's ears?????

I thought I should clarify that those pictures aren't my chickens.
I just googled them. And all of my chickens lay brown eggs, that's whit was so weird to find a white one! We haven't got a nother one lately.

what you see in the pictures is kind-of a cover for the ear. If you lift that up you will see a hole and THAT'S the ear. :-)

It's pretty cool!
