Well, we made arrived in LA safely! YEA! We'll have buckets of fun here... i really enjoy it here! :-) I just stumbled across and giveaway going on HERE... of VERY CUTE headbands and earrings! Go and check it out! :-)

{ Going on a Trip... }

... again! :-) This time my family and I are headed to Louisiana to visit my Nana, Pawpaw, Uncle, Aunt, and cousins! Tonight we're packing up and gonna head out tomorrow after church! :-D Very exciting!!!!

I'm not sure if I'll be posting here on my trip or not, but i guaranty that I will post when I get back! Hope you all had and great Christmas and I'll post to you next year (or sooner) ! :-)

{ The Eve of Christmas Eve treats }

My mom made these yummy turtle bites last night.... they are SO good!

{Turtle Bites}

~ Rolos

                                                   ~Flat pretzels (we used the square ones)

~ Pecans

 :: Lay out each pretzel on a cookie sheet ::

:: Then place one Rolo on each pretzel ::

:: Place in the oven at 200* for about 5 min. ::

(or until they can be easily smushed, and glossy) 

:: Then simply smush the Rolo with a pecan ::

:: Let harden or eat right then! ::

(they're very good fresh!)

Plus we made some sugar cookies... can you say yummy! :-)

It's not really a "dish" but I LOVE seeing/eating Summer Sausage on Christmas day!

We don't have a complete set, but we have a little Mary/Joseph/Jesus... thing :-)

Ooo.... I have many... but White Christmas, and Christmas in Conneticut are probably my favorites!

I have no idea.... but Scotland or Wales would be fun! :-)

No, but always something fun!

No, not that I remmeber!

Both

Normally a couple weeks before and after Christmas

A candle light service with fellowship afterwards... very nice!

No, but I do believe there was a real person... St. Nicholas

Luke! (combined Matthew because it tells about the wise men)

Nope

 

13.Do you buy Christmas presents for your pets?
Not normally, but I think we've done it a couple times! :-)

It's been freezing.... low has been about -11F and the high has been about 9F!!!! Yeah... can you say FREEZING!!!!! Other than it being cold out side... it's been really pretty!

Mom made these the other day for a Christmas service were having and our church... they are SO YUMMY! They are very light, tasty, and taste like chocolate cake with powered sugar instead of icing! ( just the way I like it! )

Q: Some people don't care for Paula Deens voice some people love it! Do you like it?
